“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.” Galatians 5:1
Hey girlfriends,
I just really felt impressed to share what the Lord has been using to minister to my heart in the last several days. These apply to you, too. Just thought someone else needed to be reminded:
He knows the plans that He has for us. They are all to prosper us and not to harm us. (Jeremiah 29:11)
He is the giver of all good gifts. (James 1:17)
He is the ultimate multi-tasker. Though we think He is not at work, He is constantly at work and will bring to fruition His promises in our lives. (John 5:17)
He loves us lavishly. (Ephesians 1:3-10)
He never lies to us. (Numbers 23:19)
What was intended for evil toward us, He has allowed and will use for our ultimate good if we let Him. (Genesis 50:20)
When Jesus Christ sets us free, we are free indeed. (John 8:36)
He has forgiven us completely. (I John 1:9)
We are the apple of His eye. (Deuteronomy 32:10)
We, as believers in Jesus Christ, are all individually His favorite child (I want to blog about this at some point). Only God can have billions of favorite children. (Psalm 139)
He is unchanging in His character. We don’t have to wonder today if He is still generous, forgiving, or perfect in His judgments.
(Hebrews 6:17)
His mercies are new every morning. Great is His faithfulness to us. (Lamentations 3:22-23)
Our darkness is as light to Him (read Psalm 139).
He goes before us in might and power. (2 Chronicles 2:6)
We have the full armor of God to cover ourselves with today (Ephesians 6).
We wrestle with a conquered foe. He will give us the courage we need no matter how fierce the battle. (Joshua 1)
His Name and His Word are exalted above all things. Neither will ever pass away. (Psalm 138:2)
There is a day of reckoning for all wrongs. (Hebrews 4:17)
Though we may have stumbled lately, we will not ultimately be cast down because He holds us in the palm of His mighty hand.
(Psalm 37:24)
We can’t be good enough, but we have the perfect Savior who has allowed us to cross from death to life. (I John 3:14)
These are just some of the truths that He has been telling my heart over and over again. Just when I think I couldn’t love Him anymore, He delights me with the profound realization that I can never get to the bottom of Him. I hope that these thoughts encourage you, my dear sister. You are deeply loved by your God today. He is enthralled with you. Let’s honor Him because He is our Lord! (Psalm 45:11)
