“From the lips of children and infants You have ordained praise because of your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger.” Psalm 8:2
Dearest Luke,
I can’t find words to describe my feelings.
I am relieved that you are in heaven, but sad that you have left us. At your funeral I was crying because I wasn’t ready to let you go. My Mom just gave me one of the most precious things in the world:A picture of me holding you. I put it on my dresser. I imagine you in a beautiful meadow playing with Audrey in heaven. You are chasing each other around. One thing in the slide show at your funeral that I’ll always remember is when Aunt Nicol was rocking you in her arms and singing “Be Still My Soul.” When Summer gets older I’ll tell her all about you.
All my love,
Your cousin Jordyn

Jordie,
You have the sweetest heart! Summer would love to hear your memories of her mommy and Luke. You could even write her a letter or a story now so you don’t forget anything.
What a great cousin you are to her!
Love,
aunt karen

Dear Jordyn,
Even though we have only met a few times, I always think of you as the “mama” of all the grandkids. I have a picture of your mom when she was 10 years old carrying my baby Amber around, she was the “mama” too. I know what a big help you and Jenna and Chase are with all of the kids. Luke was very lucky to be held and loved by you.
Thank you for sharing your story.
Love,
Linda Kneefel
