All of us can remember that terrifying moment as small children when we were separated from our parent in a grocery or department store. There are emotions that rush to the forefront of my mind, burned in my memory, when I think of being lost:
Fear,
helplessness,
a sense of being forgotten,
not belonging.
“For the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost.” Luke 19:10
All of us have been lost. How can God use this gift in our lives? I hope you will spend a few minutes with me as I recount being lost from a parent’s perspective.
Merry Christmas, dear friends!
