[I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!]
So we take comfort and are encouraged and confidently and boldly say, The Lord is my Helper; I will not be seized with alarm [I will not fear or dread or be terrified]. What can man do to me?
Hebrews 13:5-6 (Amplified Bible)
Someone besides me needs to know that our God will not in any way fail us, nor give us up, nor leave us without support. I love the repeat of the words I will not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let you down. Assuredly not!
How do we know these words are true? Because just two verses later is the greatest promise mankind has ever been given: “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever (verse 8). My sweet sisters, let’s ask Him who never changes–never–to change our False Evidence Appearing Real to faith:
